Linx Strengthens Presence in Gulf Region with New Distributor

Coding and marking specialist Linx Printing Technologies has continued its major expansion into new territories with the appointment of a distributor in Qatar. Ramelie for Packaging Machinery will supply Qatari manufacturers with a range of Linx technologies, including its continuous inkjet (CIJ), laser, full-spectrum laser (FSL), and thermal transfer overprinter (TTO) solutions.

The appointment reflects Qatar’s ongoing growth in manufacturing, with food & beverage, detergents, and chemicals among the expanding markets, and also the increasing requirement for coding and marking dictated by legislation.

A key factor in Linx’s decision to appoint Ramelie as its Qatari distributor was the company’s superior knowledge of Linx technology, due to it having previously distributed Linx products in other territories through its operation United Traders. Furthermore, Ramelie has 20 years’ experience in both the sales and technical aspects of coding and marking.
