Linx introduces new universal MEK-free ink to its range

Linx Printing Technologies has introduced a fast-drying, general-purpose black ink that does not contain MEK, but delivers the good print quality and excellent adhesion expected with typical MEK based inks.

The new Linx Black Ink 3203 also offers the benefits of reduced odour and lower solvent consumption with lower VOC emissions. Customers benefit from reduced user interventions saving time spent refilling solvent.

Formulated to meet a wide range of customer needs this new general-purpose ink is suitable for production environments in which MEK is restricted.

It delivers excellent adhesion on packaging materials typically used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries including PET, glass and OPP.

“We are very excited to add this unique formulation of MEK-free ink to our general-purpose ink range” explains Simon Millett, Inks Product Manager at Linx. “The launch of this new ink reduces the administrative requirements associated with MEK to our customers and our partners.”
